Shawyer Family Law and Mediation PC Congratulates Andrew Sudano

One of Toronto’s leading family law firm congratulates associate, Andrew Sudano, on his 10 year anniversary with the firm.

Andrew is an experienced courtroom advocate. His practice encompasses a broad range of family law litigation, including child welfare, aboriginal law, parenting and residency issues and complex family law litigation. Andrew has a keen ability to cut through the complex and deliver practical and effective solutions for his clients.

“We are excited to celebrate Andrew’s anniversary and look forward to another 10 years!” says Managing Partner, Robert Shawyer. “He has a wide range of experience at all levels of Court in Ontario and a demonstrated record of success as an advocate.”

Prior to joining Shawyer Family Law and Mediation PC, Andrew summered with a well know family law lawyer in the City of Toronto. While summering in family law Andrew honed his skills to ready himself to begin practicing family law when he was called to the Bar. Since being called to the Bar Andrew has represented hundreds of clients and represented the child who was the subject of the Coates v. Watson decision that led to the amendment of section 31 of the Family Law Act, Ontario’s child support. In addition, Andrew, while acting as counsel, has litigated the issue of s. 35 Aboriginal Rights.

Andrew Sudano received his LLB from the University of New Brunswick. While attending law school at the University of New Brunswick, Andrew was awarded the Phillip Holland Prize in Criminal Procedure. Prior to obtaining his LLB Andrew obtained his Bachelor of Arts in English and History from the University of Toronto.

Congratulations, Andrew!
